The Second Air Division Memorial Trust
The American Library is managed by the Norfolk County Council Library and Information Service funded by the Memorial Trust of the Second Air Division USAAF.
This is a registered UK charity (No: 269047).
The trust contributes funding for a Trust librarian, and a small team of library and information assistants.
A pair of 'American Scholars' are also part of the library team. Two scholarships are awarded annually to American postgraduate students at the University of East Anglia (UEA), through funds raised by the former Second Air Division Association.
The trust's board of governors includes a representative of the American Embassy in London and a representative of the Heritage League of the Second Air Division (USAAF).
The trust works closely with other organisations interested in Anglo-American relations. These include the UEA and the American Air Museum at the Imperial War Museum Duxford.
Further information about the Second Air Division Memorial Trust, including copies of its annual report and accounts, is available from the Charity Commission's website.
